| Abstract: | Abstract: In the construction of a road infrastructure there is always a deficit in the updating of the database, so it is necessary to opt for techniques and mechanisms for the identification and collection of new data obtained in the field. Through this process, detailed information about hydraulic construction works such as sewers and bridges are available, since over time they suffer an alteration in relation to what they were designed; the same happens with the zones of geological faults, since they alter the vehicular flow and generate a discomfort to the passersby. This information is collected with technological tools that are free to use, in such a way that an updated database and digital maps are created with the help of a Geographic Information System with the objective of planning and improving the conditions of the road infrastructure under study. With all this information collected, you will have a result with technical and reliable information that will serve to enrich the database of the Road Safety Observatory of the UTPL. |
| Description: | Resumen: En la construcción de una infraestructura vial siempre existe déficit en la actualización de la base de datos, por lo que es necesario optar por técnicas y mecanismos para la identificación y recolección de nuevos datos que se obtienen en campo. Mediante este proceso, se tiene información detallada acerca de las obras de construcción hidráulica como lo son las alcantarillas y puentes, ya que con el tiempo sufren una alteración respecto a lo que estaban diseñadas; lo mismo sucede con las zonas de fallas geológicas, ya que alteran el flujo vehicular y generan un malestar a los transeúntes. Aquella información, se recolecta con herramientas tecnológicas que resultan ser de uso libre, de tal manera que se crea una base de datos actualizados y mapas digitales con la ayuda de un Sistema de Información Geográfica con el objetivo de planificar y mejorar las condiciones de la infraestructura vial en estudio. Con toda esta información recolectada, se tendrá un resultado con información técnica y fiable que servirá para enriquecer la base de datos del Observatorio de Seguridad Vial de la UTPL. |
