Abstract

Abstract: The research study corresponding to the topic Academic preferences of the students of the Law Career and its link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the study of judgments, which a variety of judgments issued by National and International justice bodies, such as the National Court of Justice, the Constitutional Court, the Contentious Electoral Court and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, were accessed during the years 2015-2020, by the use of digital resources provided by the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja through its Virtual Learning Environment, and scientific information databases available in the virtual library. It should be noted that the research developed aims to know the factors that converge in the graduate of the UTPL Law School to develop preferences for specific areas of legal science and their future expertise. Finally, the research has been executed according to methodologically valid guidelines to examine legal phenomena from different perspectives and identify it in various dimensions, weaknesses and limitations of cultural, structural and social order.
