Salud Mental en trabajadores Sanitarios durante la pandemia de Covid-19 en Santo Domingo en el año 2021

Abstract

Abstract:.Covid-19 affected the physical and psychological health of health workers who worked in first line, for this reason the objective of this research was to know the state of health mental health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The design of research is non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive and quantitative; the sample was of 49 workers; The collection was through the ArcGIS platform; The instruments applied were, Ad Hoc sociodemographic and labor questionnaire, Maslach Burnout Inventory, DASS-21, AAQ-7 and UCLA-20 Inventory, sleep quality scale (PSQI). The The results show that they are mostly female, married, rotating shifts, average age of 36 years, professional experience of 10 years. Regarding the MBI, most of the staff have low emotional exhaustion (87.8%), depersonalization (81.6%) and personal fulfillment (85.7%), in mental health 100% of health personnel presented mild levels of stress, anxiety, depression, psychological inflexibility there was a mean of 8.47, perception of loneliness 3.73, and sleep quality 89.8% had low difficulty sleeping.
