Salud mental en trabajadores sanitarios durante la pandemia de COVID 19 en el cantón Naranjal Ecuador

Abstract

Abstract:The present investigative work entitled Mental health in health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Naranjal canton, aimed to detect the state of health mental health personnel. The methodology used in this research was It was characterized as non-experimental, cross-sectional, exploratory, descriptive and quantitative. The selected sample consisted of 40 health workers, who were chosen through a accidental non-probabilistic sampling. The instruments used to collect the information were: ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaire, MBI-HSS chronic work stress inventory, depression, anxiety and stress scale DASS-21, acceptance and action questionnaire AAQ-II, UCLA-3 loneliness scale, and the PSQI sleep quality index. The results obtained allow us to conclude that the investigated sample does not present serious effects on their health mental, the most significant data is located in light levels of stress, anxiety and depression, in relation to sleep, there is evidence of low difficulty sleeping, and with respect to burnout, the The level detected is low in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.
