Salud mental en trabajadores sanitarios durante la pandemia de COVID19 en el cantón Santa Isabel - Ecuador

Abstract

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused serious mental health problems, especially in health professionals, a group that has been the most exposed to various risks and factors stressful during this time. The present study is subject to a design of type no experimental, cross-sectional, exploratory, descriptive and with a quantitative approach. He The objective of the research is to determine the mental health status of workers health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, at the Santa Isabel Canton Hospital, province del Azuay, during the year 2021. The sample studied is made up of 45 workers health workers, who work in the aforementioned institution. The instruments applied are: Sociodemographic questionnaire, MBI -HSS, DASS-21, AAQ-II 7, UCLA-3, PSQI. From the investigation, it can be concluded that most of the personnel investigated is included within of the normal ranges in the different variables, a situation that allows us to deduce that the evaluated personnel do not require urgent attention; however, it is important to apply strategies that allow these ranges to be kept within permitted values, in such a way that give detrimental variations.
