Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this degree work is to highlight the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the daily life of people and if they have There have been advances in its development. Specifically, it focuses on SDG-16, which addresses the theme of "Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions". To analyze this in detail objective, sentence No. 1292-19-EP/21 of the Constitutional Court of the Ecuador and the analysis and synthesis method was used to achieve a detailed study of the selected sentence. The theoretical-deductive method was also used to understand the relationship between law and social phenomena, as well as to examine the causes that led to the violation of the constitutional rights of the people in priority care groups in the workplace and their direct relationship with the SDG-16. Finally, this paper analyzes the performance of the judges of appeal and if his action was correct in view of what was raised to correct the shortcomings of the judicial system in Ecuador and if it was possible to compensate the violated rights of the victim.
