Abstract: The theme of the research is "Academic preferences of students of the Law School and its link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through the study of sentences", whose objective was to know the factors that converge in the Graduate of the UTPL Law Degree to develop preferences for specific areas of legal science and their future specialization in these. The methodology used was the systematic, analytical and synthetic method; The investigation is considered to be of a theoretical-deductive type due to the orientation in the process of reviewing jurisprudence, legal norms and doctrine. The techniques used were the signing and the study of sentences. The sentence that was analyzed was issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador. From the case analyzed, it is concluded that in the face of a conflict or collision between constitutional and infra-constitutional norms, judges are in the possibility of directly applying the Constitution or of raising the consultation before the Constitutional Court, which will depend on the complexity of the case. conflict known to you.
