Abstract

Abstract: This research analyzes the public policies implemented by Ecuador to address Venezuelan migration, focusing specifically on the case of the city of Tulcán, located on the northern border of the country. Venezuelan migration has generated significant challenges for Ecuador, especially in the areas of accommodation, health, education and employment. With this context, the document examines the measures adopted by the Ecuadorian government to address these problems, including strengthening the protection and assistance systems for migrants, collaboration with organizations international and the implementation of integration programs. Through an exhaustive analysis of the implemented policies and strategies, both the achievements and limitations in the Ecuadorian government's response. Stands out the importance of cooperation between government actors, non-governmental organizations governments and civil society to effectively address the challenges of Venezuelan migration, highlighting both the progress achieved and the areas that require greater attention. Provides key recommendations to improve government response and achieve effective integration of Venezuelan migrants into Ecuadorian society.
