Análisis comparativo del Desarrollo de la Economía Popular y Solidaria entre Colombia y Ecuador en el periodo 2008- 2018

Abstract

Abstract: The Popular and Solidarity Economy includes all those economic practices and social activities of an individual or collective nature whose motivation is to eliminate a need. Solidarity, equity and cooperation are the pillars on which bases this type of economy, where the human being takes a leading role in the economic activity. Many governments around the world have recognized the importance and the influence it has on society, Colombia and Ecuador opted to regularize it and implement it in the national system. When analyzing the realities faced by each country that triggered the creation of a new Political Constitution, a marked difference in terms of political purpose of the Constitutions. The regulatory laws of Both countries have a very similar structure in terms of principles, objectives and regulated entities. When analyzing the government plans of Colombia and Ecuador, it is evident that public policies provided main attention to the social sector, which sought generate new forms of employment and improve the living conditions of the most deprived.
