Incidencia de la mano de obra no calificada del sector lechero en el nivel de empleo del Cantón Sevilla de Oro, periodo 2019-2022

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to evaluate, at the level of employment, the participation of unskilled labor in the dairy sector of the Sevilla de Oro canton in the period 2019 to 2022, for this purpose primary and secondary information was collected coming from reliable sources to establish the situation of unskilled labor within the dairy economic activity, with data presented in different diagrams and comparative tables. The results obtained revealed that the majority of people respondents who work within the dairy sector are not qualified, with a considerable deficit high level of formal education and specific training, however, it is an activity that does not not only at the cantonal but also at the national level, they generate a considerable number of jobs, even informal way, with which basic needs are satisfied, and although it is considered an activity that contributes to economic development, the vast majority of producers are self-employed and elderly. Consequently, these findings indicate a direction of people towards this economic activity when there is an educational deficit.
