La inversión en la educación superior en el Ecuador periodo 2010-2020

Abstract

Abstract: This research focused on establishing the effects of public investment in higher education on the Ecuadorian economy during the period 2010-2020. For This was implemented a descriptive study and an econometric estimation that involved make use of panel data estimates and establish correlations of variables quantitative: gross value added (GVA) as dependent variable and spending on education as an independent variable. In that sense, after applying the correlation of the variables it was possible to corroborate that education spending is statistically significant with the VAB, at the provincial level. Furthermore, through the GLS model and the panel model, corrected heteroskedasticity and serial correlation. It was determined that the increase in spending public in education causes an increase in the level of growth of economies provincials in the period 2010-2020.
