| Zusammenfassung: | Abstract:The present investigation, "A Descriptive Analysis of Anglicisms in Ecuadorian Magazines", took place in Quito, capital of Ecuador. The aim of this investigation was to analyze the way that anglicisms are used in Ecuadorian magazines. As a sample, the following magazines were cho sen "La Casa", "Gestion", "Vistazo" and "Hogar". The purpose for this study was to investigate the linguistic phenomenon of anglicisms used in Ecuadorian magazines. In order to analyze the data, two methods were used: qualitative and quantitative. The following results were obtained: quantitatively were found 584 anglicisms in all magazines, and qualitatively: in General interest magazines there have been found 287 anglicisms, so these magazines have the majority of anglicisms, followed by Scholarly magazines where were found 207 anglicisms and in the last position with 90 anglicism found are the Cultural magazines. |
| Beschreibung: | Resumen: La presente investigación, "Un análisis descriptivo de los anglicismos en las revistas ecuatorianas", se llevó a cabo en Quito, capital de Ecuador. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la forma en que se utilizan los anglicismos en las revistas ecuatorianas. Como muestra, se eligieron las siguientes revistas "La Casa", "Gestion", "Vistazo" y "Hogar". El propósito de este estudio fue investigar el fenómeno lingüístico de los anglicismos utilizados en las revistas ecuatorianas. Para analizar los datos se utilizaron dos métodos: cualitativo y cuantitativo. Se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: cuantitativamente se encontraron 584 anglicismos en todas las revistas, y cualitativamente: en las revistas de interés general se han encontrado 287 anglicismos, por lo que estas revistas tienen la mayoría de anglicismos, seguidas de las revistas Scholarly donde se encontraron 207 anglicismos y en el El último puesto con 90 anglicismos encontrados son las revistas culturales. |
