Abstract

Abstract: In this research work whose primary objective is to analyze the impact of the use of GeoGebra in learning conic sections and their influence on performance academic of the students who are in the second year of Baccalaureate at the U.E.P La Colina , The effectiveness of the use of this technological tool in teaching practice is demonstrated. of Mathematics, especially in the preparation of graphs of conic sections and in the selection of equations for solving problems. This is a study quantitative through the survey technique in which objectivity and effectiveness of the mathematical assistant in a class with ICTs (Information Technologies and Communication), it is also demonstrated that the learning of the topic is dynamic with a range of important assertiveness in the results; However, it should be noted that not only impact on problem solving but also on the positive attitude of students who use this tool, creating a totally active and communicative environment between the teacher and the students.
