Abstract

Abstract: The present research work entitled Digital competencies and their relationship with teaching innovation in basic elementary and middle basic education in the Educational Unit Jaime Roldós Aguilera from the city of Santa Isabel and province of Azuay, school year 2023- 2024, aims to analyze the relationship between digital competence and innovation teacher. To collect the information, the data collection technique was used quantifiable. It is concluded that teachers identify their needs regarding the search for data, information or digital content in online environments, had difficulties regarding data access, therefore, are continually training, which allows them to adapt to the change and innovation that is taking place continually in the new methodology of education. Therefore, it is recommended to directors of the Jaime Roldós Aguilera Educational Unit encourage the process of training, this will allow improving the class methodology, in this way it will be possible to reach in a more attractive way to students, motivating them throughout the entire learning process. teaching.
