Competencia digital y su relación con la innovación docente

Abstract

Abstract: In the present research work Digital competencies and their relationship with teaching innovation in the Pimampiro Educational Unit of the city of Pimampiro, province of Imbabura, school period 2022-2023, an analysis was carried out on the relationship between digital competence and teaching innovation, through the search for information, following a positivist philosophy, a deductive approach and a quantitative methodological route. Surveys were applied which were answered voluntarily by 10 teachers from the institution. The results show that teachers have a very good command of digital skills and innovation, starting from information literacy to problem solving in digital environments, and the need for a constant technological update. It is concluded that digital skills and innovation teachers allow the development of new pedagogical practices that improve the process of teaching to achieve meaningful learning through the use of various technologies and It is recommended to expand the scope to a larger sample in future research to achieve better data representativeness.
