Prevalencia de la salud mental, capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en docentes de educación primaria y secundaria Valle de los Chillos

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to determine the prevalence of mental health, capital psychological and job satisfaction in teachers from the southeastern sector of the city of Quito, Valle de los Chillos during the year 2023, through a quantitative, non-experimental study, transversal and descriptive implemented in a sample made up of 40 teachers of primary, secondary and university education, for the collection of information applied the instruments of the ad hoc sociodemographic and labor Questionnaire, scale of depression, anxiety and stress (DASS-21) and surveys developed with the Likert scale to measure psychological capital and job satisfaction. Among the main results, it stands out that most of the teachers presented good mental health due to levels mild anxiety (76.7%), depression (88%) and stress (93.3%), in addition, high scores in the psychological capital variable (126.91) and job satisfaction (67.82). As Conclusion establishes that teachers have the necessary psychological tools to face the challenges inherent to their profession which is reflected in their mental health positive, their solid psychological capital and their job satisfaction.
