Abstract

Abstract: The present research work entitled digital competencies and their relationship with Teaching innovation aims to analyze the relationship between digital competence and teaching innovation of the Selva Alegre Educational Unit of the Selva Alegre parish, Imbabura province, 2022-2023 school year. For the collection of information from this The research followed a quantitative methodological route, with a deductive approach, under the positivist philosophy. To create the sample, the non-probabilistic technique was applied and voluntary survey in which information was collected through a questionnaire, Subsequently, an analysis was carried out and it was concluded that digital skills and their relationship with teaching innovation are closely related, so the Digital competencies are a key enabler for learning to innovate in the digital age. By It is recommended that teachers receive solid initial training in skills digital, which allows them to use ICT effectively in educational practice.
