Salud mental capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en docentes ecuatorianos del sector norte del cantón Valencia

Abstract

Abstract: The present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the prevalence of mental health, psychological capital and job satisfaction in Ecuadorian teachers of the northern sector of the Valencia canton during the year 2023. A methodology of quantitative, non-experimental approach, cross-sectional and descriptive design, The sample was made up of 83 teachers who met the criteria of inclusion. The instruments that were applied were the DASS-21, psychological capital and work satisfaction. The results determined that a prevalence of mild level in stress and depression of 100%, and in anxiety of 90.4%. Regarding the capital psychological and job satisfaction prevailed a high average. It is concluded that the majority of teachers perceive that their health has not been affected and that their psychological capital and job satisfaction are high.
