Abstract

Abstract: This research called Digital competencies and their relationship with teaching innovation in the Francisco Arias Educational Unit, of the Selva Alegre Parish, belonging to the Saraguro Canton, Province of Loja, has as its objective the analysis of the relationship between digital competence and teacher innovation. For the collection of the information, the survey technique was used, a questionnaire was used as an instrument. It is concluded that, in the development and production of digital content, half of the teaching staff They have a low level of knowledge, due to the fact that they do not produce or make use of the different platforms to take advantage of digital content, in order to put into practice creativity and knowledge in the development of methodologies adjustable to the needs of each child. Therefore, it is recommended to the director of the educational institution, offer workshops and encourage teachers to create and use digital content, in order to obtain significant learning.
