Abstract

Abstract: This research work is titled Academic preferences of students of the law career and its connection with the sustainable development goals (sdgs) through the study of sentences, and is directed to the subject of Criminal Law with emphasis on the right to justice, right to due process and right to double in accordance with the following ruling No.2516-19-EP/22 of the Court Constitutional Law of Ecuador, which covers infringement and violation of the right to double compliant, instrumentalized in the right to due process in the guarantee of recourse the ruling, with respect to the plaintiff who obtained a first conviction in Second instance. The objective of this study is to expose the relationship between the present sentence and the SDGs, in this case SDG 16 Promote peace, justice and strong institutions through just, peaceful and inclusive societies, with This relationship is evidenced by conflicts, insecurity, weak institutions, limited access to justice, lack of specialized personnel are a serious threat for sustainable development.
