Abstract

Abstract: Research presents an innovative educational model to improve performance academic performance of students in the Elementary sublevel of the Monseñor Luis Educational Unit Alfonso Crespo Chiriboga, from the Amaluza parish, Espíndola Canton, Loja Province. He research topic was The curriculum and learning standards issued by the Ministry of Education and its impact on the academic performance achieved by students in the Elementary sublevel. We sought to provide innovative support through research bibliographic and field that help improve the pedagogical process of the teachers of the Educational unit. The inductive-deductive method and the bibliographic technique and the survey as the central axis for data collection in this research process. HE concludes that it is important to strengthen communication about the connection between the content educational and the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, responding to the demand of clarity and relevance perceived by students. Teachers' perception is mostly positive, regarding compliance with standards and its relationship with the student learning.
