Abstract

Abstract: This research provides a critical and reflective analysis on the role of Law in the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal number 4, focused on guaranteeing inclusive and equitable education for all. Through the review of a court ruling Specifically, it explores how the justice system can support or limit the ideals of this SDG, focusing on the rights to access to education and cultural identity. He study addresses the interaction between the academic preferences of students of Law and the SDGs, using a qualitative methodological approach based on the analysis of legal texts and judicial rulings. Despite facing challenges such as the limitation in the access to certain judicial documents, the investigation highlights the importance of integrating theory and practice in the analysis of how judicial decisions impact and are influenced for the SDGs. This work is relevant, highlighting how Law can be an instrument to promote education as a fundamental right and for the effective implementation of the SDGs, contributing to a more just and inclusive society.
