Abstract

Abstract: The present study focuses on analyzing the factors that influence the selection of the transportation used by the educational community. The stated objectives include identifying the modes of transport used, know the reasons behind these choices, and propose strategies to promote sustainable transportation. Through a mixed methodology, Data was collected through surveys and observations. The results show that the Economy is the main transportation selection factor, followed by safety and security. comfort. A high dependence on public and school transportation was observed, with a notable congestion during peak hours. The conclusions suggest the need to improve the bicycle infrastructure and promote the use of non-motorized means to reduce the congestion and improve the quality of urban life.
