GeoGebra en el aprendizaje de operaciones con vectores y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de segundo año de bachillerato

Abstract

Abstract: The present research work addresses the topic GeoGebra in the learning of operations with vectors and their impact on the academic performance of students of second year of high school. The general objective is to determine how the use of the GeoGebra software in learning vectors in students of the educational unit Ramón Samaniego Palacios , located in the El Arenal parish, Puyango canton, Province from Loja. The student population includes 150 students enrolled in the period 2024-2025 school year, from which a sample of 17 second-year students was selected year of high school. For the development of the research, a questionnaire was applied in two moments: a pre-test and a post-test. The results obtained were analyzed by the non-parametric Wilcoxon W statistical test, used due to the small size of the sample and the lack of normality in the data. A significant difference was found in the scores, with a p-value of 0.001, which allows us to conclude that the use of GeoGebra has a positive impact on vector learning.
