Abstract

Abstract: This research focuses on the analysis of the link that Constitutional Law has in correspondence with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 16, as part of the 17 SDGs approved by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 in force until 2023, with the purpose of promoting an adequate Rule of Law through fair, peaceful and inclusive societies that promote sustainable development, as well as guaranteeing equal access to justice for society in general through the creation of institutions that have remained over time, efficient, transparent, and their way of relating to the judgment issued in 2021 by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, corresponding to an extraordinary action of protection, where it was possible to evidence the violation of the right to due process in the guarantee of motivation and legal security, seeking to restore the level of confidence in a justice system that has the capacity to guarantee the enjoyment of the rights stipulated in the Magna Carta.
