dc.description | Resumen: Dentro del mundo de la educación, el uso de WhatsApp para el desarrollo de habilidades lingüísticas cada vez cobra mayor importancia, por ello este estudio busca demostrar el uso de material auténtico a través de WhatsApp en la enseñanza de habilidades de escucha en entornos extra aula de EFL. Para llevar a cabo este estudio se utilizó un enfoque mixto con resultados cuantitativos y cualitativos. Este estudio se realizó en la parroquia de Yaruquí, teniendo como muestra a 15 estudiantes de segundo año de secundaria, quienes realizaron varias actividades en el aula con actividades que contaban con materiales auténticos, como videos, lo que nos permitió recolectar información significativa para nuestro estudio. Con estos resultados pudimos demostrar que el uso de Whatsapp es de gran ayuda tanto para docentes como para estudiantes en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, dando resultados positivos y avances en las habilidades de escucha. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Within the world of education, the use of WhatsApp for skill development linguistics is becoming increasingly important, which is why this study seeks to demonstrate the use of authentic material through WhatsApp in teaching listening skills in EFL extra-classroom environments. To carry out this study, a mixed approach was used with quantitative and qualitative results. This study was carried out in the parish of Yaruquí, having as a sample 15 second-year high school students, who carried out various activities in the classroom with activities that had authentic materials, such as videos, which allowed us to collect significant information for our study. With These results were able to demonstrate that the use of WhatsApp is of great help both for teachers and students in the teaching-learning process, giving results positive and advances in listening skills. | es_ES |
