Salud mental, capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en trabajadores ecuatorianos

Abstract

Abstract: The main objective of this research project was to determine the prevalence of mental health, psychological capital and job satisfaction in Ecuadorian workers in the central sector of the city of Jipijapa during the year 2023. A quantitative approach was used, with a design non-experimental, descriptive and transversal. The sample consisted of 53 workers, and various instruments were applied to collect information, including the Ad Hoc sociodemographic and work questionnaire, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS 21), the job satisfaction scale and the psychological capital test. The results obtained from the sample reveal that the workers present an absence of anxiety, stress and depression, which indicates a positive aspect in their mental health. In relation to the psychological capital test, the highest average was 34.74 in the dimension of hope, indicating that the workers are motivated and finally the level of job satisfaction is good, which indicates that they are satisfied in the work environment.
