Abstract

Abstract: The main theme of this research was to determine the family-school relationship, and main objective to strengthen the family-school relationship in educational institutions, it was used the survey as an instrument and was applied to 10 parents of education students initial, plus 5 teachers from the Miguel Ángel Suarez Institute and 5 teachers from the Pio Institute Jaramillo Alvarado. A mixed qualitative and quantitative approach was used, as it allowed collect, analyze, data on the main perceptions of the pedagogical dimensions; inclusion, community participation and teacher involvement were the dimensions with a higher percentage of acceptance and approval by the teaching family perception, the pedagogical dimensions with less perceived approval by parents of family was participation in extracurricular activities; therefore a proposal that encourages recreational activities to encourage the inclusion of family-school; the establishment of said activities related to sports, crafts, and excursion, determine the development of social, cognitive, motor and intellectuals.¿.
