| Abstract: | Abstract: In this master's thesis, a study was carried out on the working and health conditions of construction workers in the city of Loja and Santa Cruz Island, for which a descriptive methodology was used through the development of interview-type surveys. Information was collected from a total of 76 workers, the surveys addressed topics such as working and health conditions, psychological conditions, and job insecurity. At the time of the investigation and tabulation of the data, it was noted that there is misinformation about what their rights and obligations are as workers. It was also noted that employers do not like to deal with these types of issues, because they have the thought that they will be fined or something similar. |
| Description: | Resumen: En el presente trabajo de fin de maestría, se realizó un estudio de las condiciones laborales y de salud de trabajadores de la construcción en la ciudad de Loja e Isla Santa Cruz, para lo cual se empleó una metodología descriptiva a través del desarrollo de encuestas tipo entrevista. Se recopiló información de un total de 76 trabajadores, las encuestas abordaron temas como las condiciones de trabajo y salud, psicológicas y de precariedad laboral. Al momento de la indagación y tabulación de los datos, se pudo percatar que existe desinformación sobre cuáles son sus derechos y obligaciones como trabajadores. También se pudo percatar que a los empleadores no les gusta tratar este tipo de temas, porque tienen el pensamiento que se los va a multar o algo parecido. |
