Abstract

Abstract: In this master's thesis, a study was carried out on the working and health conditions of construction workers in the city of Loja and Santa Cruz Island, for which a descriptive methodology was used through the development of interview-type surveys. Information was collected from a total of 76 workers, the surveys addressed topics such as working and health conditions, psychological conditions, and job insecurity. At the time of the investigation and tabulation of the data, it was noted that there is misinformation about what their rights and obligations are as workers. It was also noted that employers do not like to deal with these types of issues, because they have the thought that they will be fined or something similar.
