Abstract: Abstract: Internal communication is a vital process in the functioning of an organization because of the dialogue it creates with the internal public, it makes the public feel taken into account by giving people the chance to comment, participate and know the guidelines of the company, what it is devoted to, what happens within it, what activities it is involved in, etc. It improves the environment and labour relationships, and increases the organizational culture, which is reflected in the external communication and in its positioning. This communication can be presented in different ways between the different levels and existing areas by using traditional tools such as telephones o boards, or digital ones such as mails, social networks, messaging networks, blogs or others. This investigation is focused in the analysis of the communication inside ecuadorian companies on a digital level in order to learn which are the communication flows, which specific actions of digital communication they use with internal publics, the digital tools they use and the different planning models of communication within the organizations.
Description: Resumen: La comunicación interna es un proceso vital en el funcionamiento de una organización, ya que crea un diálogo con el público interno, logra que el mismo se sienta tomado en cuenta al poder opinar, participar y conocer las directrices de la empresa, cómo funciona, qué hace, a qué se dedica, qué sucede dentro de ella, en qué actividades se involucra, etc. Mejora el ambiente y las relaciones laborales, así como el crecimiento de la cultura organizacional, lo cual se refleja en la comunicación externa y en su posicionamiento.
