Abstract

Human beings are very important life stages, one of which is the elderly comprising seniors aged 65. It is important to highlight the continuous and growing percentage of this age group, so that through this research structured in three chapters is primarily a study around the main shaft which is the older adult for the knowledge and study of certain aspects as needs, features, activities and requirements to subsequently determined the understanding of their habitat. Is subsequently performed an analysis of specific references through a methodological and descriptive card that analyzes four key parameters of each architectural project for knowledge and contribution to the architecture of the third age in others Finally, after the study, analysis and understanding arises the proposal of architectural design of the gerontological center residential and day-care benefit to older adults in the town with the projection of spaces that contribute efficiently to healthy aging in all its fields.
