Análisis narratológico de la tradición cultural en la obra. Un país lleno de leyendas de Graciela Eldredge

Abstract

Abstract: This current bachelor degree to be work named "The Cultural tradition in a country full of legends" from the author Graciela Eldredge is a qualitative investigation, which is based on MiekeBal's book within the narrative analysis and its elements in which I included; proposal, characters, time, location, emblematic features, textual structure, literature values, story and social values. This written assignment was made with the objective of studying and knowing the cultural traditions of each Ecuador's provinces, due to the fact that these have their own cultures and traditions which keep the towns' stories alive. To have a strong information I used many bibliography resources, but the most important of all was the book of legends, which was analyzed to give a motivating information for kids and young people, so that they can have a wide vision of the Ecuadorian legends, being aware and hoping that this valuable information will help them to make our identity and beliefs stronger. Thanks to each of the legends, the readers will find themselves with holy and mysterious lagoons, animals that heal, frightening beings and precious stones of a huge size, fire islands, mountains that fall in love and the nature's anger.
