Levantamiento y análisis preliminar del estado del arte de la Historia de la Comunicación Social en la provincia de Pichincha durante el período de 1980 a 2013.

Abstract

The present research work, is part of the graduation program "History of Social Communication of Ecuador", was prepared by the Social Communication Degree of the Technical University of Loja, aims to survey, search and analyze primary sources and secondary and that are part of the process for the documentation of this period, from compiling the required information, a base of primary sources was created that corresponds to the means that were created and that also have disappeared in the province of Pichincha. The press of this period had an important role in the events, because they also became news actors, for example in the unstable democracy stage, the banking crisis of 1999 and the creation of the Organic Law of Communication. For its development, the study of the secondary sources was carried out, as well as interviews with characters related to the newspapers and magazines found, which together with the news events published, were part of the History of Social Communication of the late twentieth century and beginnings of the XXI.
