Abstract

Abstract: The research was carried out to teachers from the first to the seventh year of basic general education at the "Ciudad de Cuenca" School of Basic Education in the canton of Macará, Loja, with the objective of evaluating teachers' performance in planning of the teaching-learning process. The methodology employed allowed, basically applying the techniques of observation, the survey and the interview together with their respective instruments to reach the proposed objectives of this important subject for the educational task. Within the results it was determined that in general there is a commitment on the part of the teachers to secure and strengthen the teaching-learning process in their institution through adequate planning of their classes and that the main aspects to be improved are the feedback of the knowledge imparted and in the correct application of the evaluations. The present study reveals, shortcomings and potentialities that correctly solved and oriented, will allow the teachers of the Educational Center to have tools that will help to achieve a comprehensive and quality education.
