Propuesta urbana para espacio público de Loja. Caso de estudio La Pileta, Ciudadela Zamora

Abstract

The present research aims to analyze the use and ways of inhabiting the space in the Zona Rosa of the City of Loja to define strategies and scenarios that allow the necessary decisions to improve the Public Space of the sector as an important part of the city. It seeks to determine the way of production of space and the bidirectional influence that exists between the inhabited space and the inhabitants. The study of the context in which the sector of study is located is approached from the physical (natural and artificial), social (demographic and forms of inhabitat), economic and normative. It will determine the importance of social activities and how they influence the use of public space while being influenced by the global context enriching this concept with arguments from the field of sociology and urban geography. With the social and spatial knowledge of the sector concrete actions will be determined to intervene in the public space.
