Estrategias didácticas para la enseñanza - aprendizaje en el área de música.

Abstract

The pedagogical strategies used in the teaching - learning process in the music area, is the subject of the present investigation. The main objective is to determine the education strategies used by educators, for teaching music to the eighth grade students of the Colegio Menor Samborondon Campus, during the 2017-2018 school year. The sample of the present investigation is composed of 5 teachers of music and 22 eighth grade students. The methods used were analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, statistical and hermeneutical method. The techniques used were direct observation, graphic organizers, reading and summary; also, the measurement instruments used were two surveys, one directed for teachers and another for students. The activities used for teaching music are based on strategies that include ear training, musical language development, musical creation and instrumental practice. The pedagogical strategies most used by music teachers are the repetition of rhythms, the learning of musical figures in the music staff, the use of the metronome and movement to internalize the rhythm of music
