El maltrato infantojuvenil y su efecto en el bienestar emocional de las niñas y adolescentes de un centro de acogida de la ciudad de Loja durante el año 2017

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out in a shelter institution of Loja city, which tries to elucidate the effects of child/young abuse in the emotional well-being of 23 girls and teenagers sheltered on it. The instruments that were used for this purpose were an observation form that gathered data related to the family situation of the population and a scale-type survey both validated and adapted to collect information related to the emotional and physical states that they experience daily. The methodology of descriptive quantitative approach allowed the collection, analysis and interpretation of theoretically based results; in which analysis it is verified that intrafamily mistreatment and the disfunctionality situations of the family in its different forms produces emotional effects that condition the emotional well-being of girls and teenagers; therefore, the application of a validated instrument makes it effective the gathering of results that also aim to become aware of the situation, which tends the improvement in the intervention- prevention and monitoring of the childhood and adolescence sheltered for a risk factor and that requieres strategies of opportune attention.
