Análisis de la variación del factor de seguridad mediante los métodos de equilibrio límite con modelación del software Slide de la ladera ubicada en la parte posterior del Hotel Howard Johnson, sector San Cayetano de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

The present work analyzes the stability of the Howard Johnson slope located to the east of the basin of Loja, bordering to the Atamer neighborhood and the Howard Johnson hotel, infrastructures that are of great social and economic interest for our City. The analysis corresponds to the variation of the safety factor applying the limit equilibrium methods (MEL), considering the physical-mechanical parameters of the study area obtained by means of tests; making use of the advanced modeling and calculation tool such as differential GPS, ArcGis and Slide software, we obtain and analyze the information of the different profiles in the original state of the slope with water table and without water table, this modeling was done for the failure of the program. Subsequent to the result of the analysis, this slope was determined as unstable, therefore the measurement of mitigation of change of slope geometry and use of drains is proposed.
