Abstract

Knowing that the identity of Peoples and Nationalities every day tends to disappear for different reasons, either because of the effects of acculturation and migration; The present project is focused on creating a space in which man is integrated with his ancestral wisdom reflected in his customs and traditions against natural wealth using the understanding of it, thus creating cultural awareness. This is why it is necessary to propose an Architectural Design of a Cultural Interpretation Center in the Puerto El Carmen Parish of Putumayo, with the purpose of spreading the customs and traditions of the peoples and nationalities that inhabit this canton, the architectural design will project To the preservation, maintenance and diffusion of ancestral knowledge. The implementation of the Cultural Interpretation Center will generate a recreational space that will not create profitability in the short term. However, this equipment, besides being recreated, will generate educational, cultural, environmental and tourist activities, as it will motivate the visitor to know local customs and traditions. That would provoke a favorable economic income only by the visit this equipmient.
