Zusammenfassung: Abstract: The present research is called "Flotation of the mineral from the Pituca II mine, Zamora Sector". It has the purpose to obtain the most optimal conditions for gold recovery through the flotation method. Flotation is a method used to concentrate minerals from a material since from hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties. The process is carried out with reagents and injection of air it is possible to make float these minerals. Floats are made in threer phases. The first flotation phase is carried out by varying the grain size, which must be between meshes #170; #200 and #230 (87; 74 and 63 μm). The second flotation phase is conducted by changing the pH, the pH being 9.5; 10.5 and 11.5. And the last phase is based on changing the collector concentration by 25 g/ton, 50 g/ton and 75 g/ton. Finally, the respective metallurgical balances are performed and the best result is flotation with the following conditions: grain size 87 μm (mesh #170), pH 9.5 and collector concentration 50 g/ton, giving as percentage of recovery 76.5% y 75.96%.
