Factores psicosociales y familiares de riesgo y protección en el consumo de sustancias en adolescentes que practican deportes priorizados en la ciudad de Loja.

Abstract

The research entitled: "Psychosocial and family factors of risk and substance use protection in adolescents who practice sports prioritized in the city of Loja" ranging in age from 11 years to 18 years of age, has as its general objective: To determine the influence of risk factors and protection in drug use in adolescents and propose an intervention program according to the Social Development Model (MDS). The type of research is of a quantitative, transversal, and prospective nature; the technique used was the survey, conducted using the MDS instrument, applied to 92 athletes. Among the most outstanding results is that there is a group of adolescents, 12 athletes with evidence of alcohol consumption, a substance indicated as having greater consumption, having as significant dimensions: Family history of antisocial behavior with significant value of (p <0.001) , antisocial participation (p <0.002), initiation of antisocial behavior (p <0.001), interaction with antisocial persons (p <0.000), which is why they are considered risk factors for alcohol consumption.
