| Abstract: | Abstract:The family is the environment where every boy, girl or teenager builds his life and history. However, there are contexts that jeopardize their integrity and well-being, having to enter institutional foster care units, which are protection and care services, which are activated when situations arise that undermine the fulfillment of their rights. Ecuador, as guarantor of the rights of children and adolescents, in situations of violence, activates the system of integral protection to establish actions of protection and care for the population affected through special protection services. The study contributes to determine the effectiveness in the application of the Technical Standard and the Model of Institutional foster care in the homes of Guayaquil for the restitution of the rights of children and adolescents, and the work with the families for the development of your parental skills The results of the investigation have allowed us to infer whether this service restores rights or if it only provides one service, in order to propose lines of action for the improvement of the quality of the service. |
| Description: | Resumen: La familia es el entorno donde todo niño, niña o adolescente construye su vida e historia. Sin embargo, existen contextos que ponen en riesgo su integridad y bienestar, debiendo ingresar a unidades de acogimiento institucional, que son servicios de protección y cuidado, que se activan cuando se generan situaciones que menoscaba el cumplimiento de sus derechos. El Ecuador como garante de derechos de niñez y adolescencia, en situaciones de violencia, activa el sistema de protección integral para establecer acciones de protección y cuidado a la población vulnerada a través de servicios de protección especial. El estudio contribuye en determinar la efectividad en la aplicación de la Norma Técnica y el Modelo de Atención de acogimiento institucional en las casas hogares de Guayaquil para la restitución de derechos de niños, niñas y adolescentes, y el trabajo con las familias para el desarrollo de sus habilidades parentales. Los resultados de la investigación han permitido inferir si este servicio restituye derechos o si solo presta un servicio, con el fin de plantear líneas de acción para el mejoramiento de la calidad del servicio. |
