Metodología para definir la poligonal urbana en la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

The uncontrolled dispersion of residential use, generates physical spatial degradation of the territory and loss in the conception of urban boundaries, due to the functional and spatial similarity between urban and rural land. In this context, the objective is to propose a methodology of urban polygonal delimitation for the city of Loja, through analysis, interpretation and geo-processing of urban variables, indicators and criteria that identify, characterize and delimit the urban areas that make up the city , and allow in this way the adequate control of the use and occupation of urban land. The methodology starts from the analysis of the legal framework, then makes a diagnosis and interpretative synthesis of the regional and local context, to determine the urban conditions that influence the delimitation of the polygonal. These variables and indicators are processed in GIS and by superimposing layers the urban criteria obtained are added, reaching the delimitation of the polygonal of the city. Finally, the projection and time of validity of the polygonal proposal and use of land occupation for 30 years was made.
