Análisis higrotérmico numérico de la vivienda del sector Punzar Chico Alto

Abstract

Abstract:Punzara Chico Alto is one of the many rural neighborhoods that are located in the rururban area of the city of Loja. In this area traditional housing prevailed, but now it is undergoing transfigurations both in its construction system and in its architectural plan. Thus, the sector has constructions: traditional (adobe and mud brick) and contemporary (brick and block). The houses develop different microclimates in their interior according to the material used. There are construction systems that provide better thermal comfort than others. The vernacular houses contain principles of climatic design, for this reason their thermal performance is optimal, presenting advantages in front of concrete houses (brick or block). In this context the aim of the investigation is to know, what existing construction system (adobe or concrete) in the neighborhood is better adapted to the climatic floor of Punzara Chico Alto. With the help of the DesignBuilder software, the hygrothermal comfort of the housing variations found in the neighborhood was evaluated, in order to determine the percentage of thermal comfort before each of the visible architectural solutions.
