Abstract

Abstract:The present work consists of Designing an Environmental Management System for the Environmental Management Unit of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Canton Tena, which is based on the guidelines of ISO 14001: 2015. To achieve this objective, the initial environmental review (RAI) was carried out, to each of the dependencies covered by this GAD, the work was initiated through interviews and analysis of existing information in each unit as well as bibliographic information. Once this phase was concluded, it was determined the need to propose the necessary policies, procedures, records, plans and lists, as indicated in the standard, for the design of the GHS, with all the documentation listed, proceeding to the socialization of the same with the Senior management and staff of this institution.
