Abstract

Abstract:The present research work is carried out, which allows to understand the urban life and the person-city duality in different circumstances: the city of Loja and San Sebastián, Spain. In addition the growth of these cities through the years is studied, the configuration, the development of its components from the historic center and its expansions; it is here where Boulevard Zumardia emerges as a reference for intervention that articulates the first San Sebastián intramural and its subsequent diffusion, supplying the needs that emerge in the place, evidencing the correct treatment of the site; While different sections in the city of Loja with similar configuration, the lack of attention is reflected as a consequence of the ignorance of the requirements required for these sites. Finally, punctual and functional strategies are proposed to facilitate the design in similar areas, then the treatment of a selected section in the city of Loja is developed, incorporating equipments that enhance and enrich the public space.
