Abstract

:The study was aimed at determining social skills and behavioral problems in children aged 3 to 5 years and is focused on preventing adaptation difficulties, socialization and the development of personal resources in different contexts to which each child is. The objective is to describe social skills, and behavior problems, the research was conducted in the Intercultural Bilingual Educational Unit "Don Bosco", where a survey was applied in Social Skills Scale, Pre-School Behavior Scale and a Sociodemographic Survey to parents or legal representatives of each child of the educational center. The results allowed us to affirm that, despite the context of poverty in which they live, the participating children showed a series of positive learnings for what they consider an environment full of positivism. Social skills learned during childhood, will allow in the future to relate properly with others and good behavior will help create an effective and satisfactory relationship; and with this also having a good competence of human relations and a good interpersonal communication.
