Abstract

Abstract:The present investigative work has as objective to analyze if the right to the city and urban governance, it is fulfilled by means of the current mechanisms provided by the Autonomous Decentralized Government of the Canton of Loja, during the period 2014 - 2019; in terms of access to public information to guarantee compliance with transparency, accountability. The present investigation contains a conceptual, legal, doctrinal study, in addition to the application of the methodology that includes the techniques of observation and interview, which contribute to the formulation of a proposal aimed at establishing a possible alternative mechanism of public information applicable in the Municipal Government of Loja, protecting the effective enjoyment of the rights to the city and access to public information that allows transparent and exercise the respective social control.
