| Abstract: | Abstract:The Penitentiary System of our country personifies in depth and form the meaning of rights violation; rehabilitation centers, the maintenance, the structures, the management and the personified plans for persons who are deprived of their liberty, do not go beyond being just a writing done by the Organic Penal Code of Ecuador, which, despite of having an ideal structure described in law, can not be fulfilled in the right way, not as it was stipulated, building in a bad way a massive violation of rights, especially of a human nature. The penitentiary crisis in our country has become a harsh and disastrous reality for the people who have to submit to it; overcrowding, mistreatment, a huge dehumanization, corruption and thousands of issues are some of the topics that are faced in the rehabilitation centers, making the main reason of the penitentiary centers become impossible: Rehabilitation and social reintegration. |
| Description: | Resumen:El Sistema Penitenciario de nuestro país personifica en fondo y forma el significado de vulneración de derechos; los centros de rehabilitación, su mantenimiento, las estructuras, su manejo y elaboración de planes personificados para las personas privadas de libertad no van más allá de ser un relato escrito en el Código Orgánico Penal del Ecuador, el cual, a pesar de tener una estructura ideal descrita en sus leyes, no se puede cumplir de la forma que se encuentra estipulada, sin restricción de una masiva violación de derechos, en especial de carácter humano. La crisis penitenciaria a nivel de nuestro país se ha convertido en una realidad dura y desastrosa para las personas que tienen que someterse a ella; hacinamiento, maltratos, deshumanización en su máxima expresión, corrupción y millares de cuestiones se viven dentro de los centros de ejecución penal, imposibilitando la razón principal de los Centros penitenciarios: Rehabilitación y reinserción social. |
